Margaret Policies

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to create a tattoo for you! My goal is to take your ideas and bring them to life. To make this as easy and stress-free as possible, there’s some guidelines and policies to make sure the process is understood.

Deposits - All tattoo appointments (except for touch-ups) are required to leave a $50 deposit for tattoos. It holds the appointment time, and the deposit is applied to the cost of the tattoo when it is done. If you are not able to make the appointment, we request you give us 24 hour notice to avoid forfeiture of the deposit. If you call the day off, or are a no call/no show, you will lose the deposit. You will need to make another deposit when you reschedule.
Consultation - most custom requests and all coverups will need a consultation appointment. That way we can discuss your ideas and come up with a design you’ll be happy with. Bring any pictures or references with you. I do not do consultations on Friday or Saturday, but I can do video consultations if you are not able to come to the shop during the week.
Drawings - all custom drawings are done in order of appointment. If you do not set an appointment, your drawing will not take priority over those who have. I do not text or email drawings, for security reasons. It will be available to view in person 24 hours before your appointment. This policy is firm.
E-mails - due to the volume of email that I receive, my general turnaround time to respond to emails is 48-72 hours. If you have general questions you can also call the shop at 540-249-6051. FYI: We do not give price quotes over the phone.
Day of Tattoo - Dress in comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
Don’t drink alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
You can bring a friend, but no more than 2, and no one under 16 will be allowed in the tattoo room.
If you are getting numbed, arrive an hour before your appointment for application (and again, no alcohol for 24 hours!).
No video without permission.
Do not drink or do drugs right before your appointment. If you are drunk or high or inebriated, you may be asked to leave.
Eat a good meal before coming in. You may also bring a drink and/or a snack if you’d like.
When the tattoo is done and you are really happy with the results, feel free to tip the artist. 15-20% is standard, but any amount is truly appreciated.

Jason Policies

Initial contact
- Decide if a consultation is required, such as if I am unclear of your needs, you would like something custom, etc.
Consultation (In person, over the phone, or video).
- No fee
- Meet with the Client to discuss placement, size, and specifics. If the client decides to move forward with my services, a drawing fee is applied no less than $35 which is treated in the same manner as a deposit: it will roll over to the price of their tattoo. If you decide to take your business elsewhere after we've drawn the tattoo, your deposit will be forfeited. A date is set to view the design.
- At the set date, I will meet with the client through text/phone video or in person and which a decision will be made on whether to continue on at which time tattoo appointment will be scheduled a price will be set and a deposit taken if necessary. drawing fee will be applied to deposit
Fine print-
The only time the client is out of any fees taken as if they are a no-call no-show for the viewing of the drawing, tattoo appointment. Client must also notify the shop or myself within 12 hours of the appointment if they need to reschedule. There is always exceptions to the rule, decided by myself. No more than 3 rescheduling appointments. Again exceptions can be made, depending on circumstances, decided by myself.
Specials
- Price will be posted with all specials, whether per design or specific special
  Size is the size it is on posted picture as if picture is treated as a standard 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. No exceptions for posted or said price…
  If they are wanting to schedule an appointment, even for a special a deposit is still taken, but walk-ins concerning specials are always welcome on a first come first serve basis, providing I do not have an existing scheduled appointment, which will take priority.

If I could give Scarlet Moon 10 ⭐️ I would!!! Margaret is amazing - her work is outstanding and the atmosphere of the shop is top tier!! She started a memorial tattoo for me today and I absolutely can’t wait to see it finished!! She’s light with the touch and made the whole experience feel like catching up with an old friend!! Already planning my next couple of tattoos with her!!

Went for their Friday the 13th flash tattoo specials. Their choices were fun and unique for the occasion. The studio took people on a first come first serve basis and booked appointments that we didn’t have to wait in line forever. Margaret did a wonderful job on my new tattoo. She is very personable and had everything ready to go as soon as I stepped into the room. Margaret has completed 4 pieces for me and is always a joy to work with. If you’re looking for an amazingly talented artist she’s your girl!
